Construction works in the library / UPDATED/OPENING

Dear visitors and readers, from September 18, construction works related to the replacement of the elevators and the entrance to the library are underway in our library. We will keep you informed about the possible closure of individual departments. We believe that you won't be discouraged by this situation from visiting and that you will enjoy the newly renovated premises and their contribution to the improvement of our services.

. Department of Music and Art Literature and the Section of Children's and Youth Literature at Kapucínská Street 1 are temporarily closed. This library sections will operate as follows for the time being:

• Returning borrowed books is possible at any of the opened departments, in the return boxes and on information desk at Klariská 16.
• Book orders is suspended as of 29 September.
• The loan period for documents borrowed from the Section of Children's and Youth Literature will be automatically extended until 5 February 2024.
• The loan period for documents borrowed from Department of Music and Art Literature will be automatically extended until 31 January 2024.

Department of Music and Art Literature at Kapucínska 1 will be open January 15. Section of Children’s and Youth Literature at Kapucínska 3 will be open February 5.
