Come and choose from a range of books in search of a second home at varying, but still very reasonable prices. Your purchase will also help to acquire more documents for the library's collection.
Do you wish to donate documents to the library?
Donations of books for the Municipal Library can be given to the Department of Music and Art Literature at Kapucínská Street 1. Donated books will either become part of our library collection or be added to our permanent bookshop "Prečítané". Donated books must be accompanied by a donation agreement, including a list of donated books. (available online for download ↗ , or directly in library).
**Please do not deposit donated books in the book drop boxes on Kapucinska and Laurinska, which are meant for the return of borrowed books only. ** If you are donating a large number of books, you can park a car at Kapucínská Street 1-3 for the limited time needed to unload the cargo during the library's opening hours (Monday - Friday 8:00 - 19:00). In this case, the library will provide the necessary permit upon request.
